De-virginized...ears

I FINALLY got my ears pierced! My ears are no longer virgin after 26 years of holding out. We went to Claire's to get them some action...finally. Whoever said getting pierced is like getting bitten by an ant must be on crack! Freaking, the piercing HURTS! The moment the gun pierces the lobe, I felt this shooting pain up the ear. Then the ear progressively felt warm and throbbing. I was probably making such a fuss that the lady gave me a lollicup. WHAHAHAHA. So now, I have to wear these Garnet (January's birthstone) earrings for 8 weeks before I can change them. I will be counting down the days until I can start wearing the puuuuuuurty earrings that Wendy bought me for my birthday (...in January)! :D
