Ashes and Snow

I went to see Gregory Colbert's 21st century bestiary works, that captures the natural interaction between humans and animals from around the world. Housed in the Nomadic Museum, the traveling home of Ashes and Snow, the visitors wind through 3 wings of the museum (Ashes and Snow).



Some of his works are quite moving, but some are disturbing. But then again, art is subjective; the viewers may see the art in a different light than what the artist intended. If you get the chance, you should go see his works; if not for the artistry, than for the pure entertainment value.
